So this post may not be directly relevant to Michael, but it's definitely got a good connection. Pura Vida is definitely one of my favorite companies, not just for the accessories, but for the causes behind all the bracelets. A company that started out with helping local artisans in Costa Rica, has now expanded to support many charities across the nation.
A friend of mine from my swim team introduced the company to me, and I'm so grateful she did. I currently have two charity bracelets-- one for Down Syndrome Awareness, and the other for Surfers for Autism. The Down Syndrome Awareness bracelet donates $1 to the National Down Syndrome Society, an amazing advocate for those with Down Syndrome. There's plenty of other charities supported by Pura Vida, so I definitely recommend checking them out! And not only do the charity bracelets support a specific charity, any item bought from Pura Vida helps promote more jobs in Costa Rica.
ALSO, if you use the code LPARKS10 you can get yourself a sweet 10% off discount!
That's all for today, I'm looking forward to posting my next adventure with Michael really soon :)
